Rolf Versteegh is a Dutch photographer and filmmaker working out of Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
He studied photographic science (B.Sc. honors degree) at the Polytechnic of Central London and professional photography at The Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, USA. History and the effect of historic forces on people play an important part in his work. Where do we meet when the shutter clicks? What is our environment ? Its richness and our emotional response? Ascending into the visual arts, the world is translated into shades and hues. A contract of meaning measured by the poetic state of world and viewer. The image responds as far as I can see, I am the other. © Rolf Versteegh Photography - All Images on this website, all rights reserved. |
